When we read the story of Chetan Bhagat’s marriage in his bestselling novel 2 States, little had we known that we’ll actually be able to witness a replica of it in real life. Tamilian Shruti married Punjabi Sagar in a traditional South Indian ceremony, however only after 8 years of having him to impress her.
Shruti’s confession about her story is one to be adored for as she shares “It’s amazing when you date someone from your teenage years and end up getting married as best friends.”
The wedding took place in Delhi and panned over three ceremonies comprising Shruti’s Mehndi, the main wedding ceremony and a dreamy reception.
While the couple was dressed in gorgeous outfits throughout the celebrations, the simplicity of the decor too contributed tons towards making some absolutely perfect pictures, captured by Oaks.
